Great Egret walking through grassland while searching for prey at Coyote Hills in the Bay Area in autumn — ダイサギ（Great Egret）は日本でもお馴染みのいつものダイサギである。ただ、日本で見かける場合と違い、かなり近づいても逃げない。

Barn Owl resting deep within dense woodland at Coyote Hills in the Bay Area in autumn — きっと何かいるはず、と思ってさまよっていると、人だかりを発見。聞くとメンフクロウ（Barn Owl）がいるということで、ほとんど真っ暗だったがなんとかカメラの性能で証拠写真はゲット。残念ながら暗すぎて飛び出しは追えなかった。
