Continuing from Part 1

The Great Egret is the same familiar species found in Japan. However, unlike in Japan, it doesn’t flee even when approached closely.

Apparently, these two species don’t get along well. Likely due to overlapping territories, I witnessed several skirmishes.

There are deer as well. Given the name “Coyote Hills,” coyotes must be around somewhere.

As the sun set, I searched the field for any owls that might appear.

Certain that something must be out there, I wandered around until I came across a group of people. They told me a Barn Owl was nearby. It was nearly pitch dark, but I managed to get a record shot thanks to the camera’s capabilities. Unfortunately, it was too dark to track its flight.
