アメリカのゴイサギ / Black-crowned Night Heron

近所の水辺にゴイサギがいた。ゴイサギは世界中に分布していて、アメリカでも日本でもゴイサギ。他にはハマシギやチュウシャクシギ、ミサゴなどが同一種として分布している。日本のゴイサギの写真と見比べてみると、アメリカのそれの方が額の白い部分が広いようだ。

Domestic-type Mallard in the Bay Area in summer — よくわからなかったカモ。家禽の一種Duclair Duckと思われる。日本名は見つからなかった。
