Cowell Ranch Beach Access

I visited Cowell Ranch for the second time since spring. This place holds special memories as it was the first spot I visited on my first weekend after moving to the U.S. This time, I’ll quickly introduce only the birds.

A female American Kestrel or an immature male.
The Merlin is the same as the one found in Japan.
Say’s Phoebe.
The now-familiar White-crowned Sparrow.
It was quite distant, making identification difficult, but it’s likely a Sharp-shinned Hawk.

Overall, there weren’t many birds, giving it a slightly quiet atmosphere, but I encountered several new species, making it a rewarding visit.
