永源山公園 / Eigenzan Park

A view of Eigenzan Park in Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The current name is TOSOH PARK Eigenzan to be exact. I wandered around the park taking pictures while looking for a Red-flanked Bluetail.

Electric poles and wires hanging down with a large amount of vine grass wrapped around them. The morning sun shines from the side against the blue sky.

Plantings and autumn leaves in the park. A mixture of green, orange, and pink leaves.
Is it because it hasn’t cooled down much that the leaves haven’t changed color recently? | Nikon D750 + AI AF Nikkor 85mm f/1.4D IF
Deciduous trees in the park can be seen through the opening of the building.

A female Daurian Redstart perching on a twig. The morning sun shines from the left, making her eyes glow.
A Daurian Redstart. Somehow there seem to be a lot of females in the picture this year?
Close-up of an Oriental Turtle Dove walking on the ground in the forest. The ground in the foreground and the forest in the background are largely blurred.

A brown tabby cat sits in front of a bamboo thicket. Colorful fallen leaves spread out around it.

Two kittens' faces visible through a gap in the center of the planting
It is out of focus, but there are four eyes staring anxiously at me beyond the vegetation. It seems to be children of the cat above.

Unfortunately, the Red-flanked bluetails were not there yet, but I might have been able to capture a different look at the park.
