ルリビタキ / Red-flanked Bluetail

I have not been very active since the beginning of this year due to rain and other things to do on the weekends. I came to the Akiyoshidai area after hearing information about Japanese Waxwings and other birds. Unfortunately, no Japanese Waxwing came out.

A male Red-flanked bluetail that appeared first thing in the morning.

オスのルリビタキ Male Red-franked Bluetail — Not as much as the previous post, but an individual that is not so afraid of people.

背中が朝日に照らされるオスのルリビタキ Male Red-franked Bluetail with its back lit by the morning sun — It was a morning with a lot of clouds, but the sun came out at a nice time. I was happy to be able to capture the beautifully shining backside.
