チョコはお好き？ / Do you like chocolate?

Strolling around a certain temple in Hofu. Among the flock of small birds, an Ashy Minivet also appeared. I met it in the same situation the other day, so it might be the same individual. It was friendly.

Red-flanked Bluetail also appeared, but it was too dark to get a clean shot.

This was the highlight of the day. A Large-billed Crow flew into the tree with something large in its mouth.

At first I thought I was looking at a walnut-like nut, but it looks different. It is too well shaped.

The shape looks like something you would find in an assortment of chocolates like Mary’s Chocolate. It seems to have been picked up somewhere.

Crows lick mayonnaise and seem to like oily foods, so perhaps chocolate is tasty too.
