ネコ、レンジャク、ルリビタキ / Cats, Waxwings, and Red-flanked Bluetail

Back in Yamaguchi, I took a walk through Eigenzan Park.

I came to search for birds, but for some reason, just like last time, there were many cats in Yamaguchi again. | Nikon Z8 + 500mm f5.6 PF
A young-looking black cat suddenly popped out.
A white socks cat.
The black cat with round, sparkling eyes is beautiful.
They’re even found on deserted paths. Since switching from the D500, even at 500mm, it’s become relatively easier to photograph cats.

I was surprised to see people in the park where birders are seldom seen, only to discover that Japanese Waxwings had arrived. It appears they’re being sighted in various locations throughout the prefecture this year.
Finally, I changed locations to Red-flanked Bluetail in Hofu. Lately, I’ve been using Lightroom’s AI noise reduction occasionally. Its remarkable noise reduction performance suggests that high ISO shooting will be increasingly utilized.
