草陰から見えるのは / What’s behind the grass?

As I parked my car by the side of the field, I saw a lark walking through the grass. As it approached, I turned off my attention and waited patiently.

Scurrying around and looking at the area.

Keep the head down and move through the bushes.

Occasionally raise the head to check the surroundings.

On the scale of a lark, a clover thicket is about the size of a bamboo thicket from a human perspective. It would be scary if there were snakes or something lurking around.

Wouldn’t you prefer a better vantage point?
