台風前のサンショウクイ、またキノコ / Ashy Minivet before the typhoon, and mushroom again

An Ashy Minivet made another appearance. The sky color was perfect just before the typhoon, but the wind picked up and the birds were completely sparse…. In the end, I could not even see the male.

The green insect I mentioned in the previous post. Perhaps Ashy Minivets were catching these. A Kutsuwa-mushi (Mecopoda nipponensis) or something similar?

Mushroom photos have been appearing frequently lately. With autumn approaching, I see many different species in the forest. I haven’t done much proper research on them, but I seems to be a Shiro-onitake (Amanita virgineoides Bas). Some have slender handles, while others are stocky like this one.

It may seem persistent, but it is a snowman.
