ヒメシジュウカラガンのその後 / Cackling Canada Goose continued

As I was passing nearby, I took a peek to see how the Cackling Canada Goose was doing.

As I drove a little further, I saw what appeared to be a group of geese. The last time I saw it, it was alone, but it had joined with three Greater White-fronted Geese.

Naturally blending in with other geese.

The Lesser White-fronted Goose I saw earlier was friends with Mallards. This one is friends with Greater White-fronted Geese. Do they consider birds with similar backsides as their friends?

I am wondering if the return trip will be solo by instinct or if it will follow its friends.
